Having worked with an experienced mentor over the past several years and co-teaching the technical
colleges non credit class on furniture reupholstery I feel that I
have had a fair amount of exposure to different furniture styles, makes
and models. I have recovered the usual couches and chairs as well
as button tufted furniture and channel backed pieces. Vinyl
work that I have done over the years consists of many varied items
such as pool table rails, beauty salon chair covers, window seat
cushions, dental and optomitrist chairs and recently curved cushions
for a clients boat.
I want Lo's Upholstery Shop to be a place where worn and tired furniture is revitalized to give the owner's furniture new luxury, comfort and character. A place where traditional upholstery is still performed to standards that were handed down through the generations. The goal being to give the underlying parts of the furniture base the support to hold up to years of use after reupholstered.
